Celebrating 30 years of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (SA)

To mark the 30th anniversary of the Equal Opportunity Act in South Australia, the Equal Opportunity Commission invites you to a series of free lunch-time sessions.

Guest speakers will talk about a range of topics related to equal opportunity and discrimination, share their personal experiences, expel common myths, and answer your questions.

Guest speakers for our second session are Katrina Webb and Grace Bowman.

Katrina Webb is recognised for her unique athleticism and outstanding success as a Paralympic athlete. She has won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in athletics at three Paralympic Games. Off the track, Katrina is the Director of her own business, member of the Premiers Council for Women, and is a mother of 3 boys.

Grace Bowman is the first ever South Australian selected to represent Australia in Equestrian at a Paralympic Games, and was the youngest equestrian competitor at the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games. Grace also competed at the 2012 London Paralympics. Grace has recently completed a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours.
