Women's Leadership Program

Multicultural SA is offering training opportunities for women from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds in 2014-15.

The Women's Leadership Program is an initiative of Multicultural SA in partnership with the South Australian Multicultural and Ethnic Affairs Commission and TAFESA. It is funded by Multicultural SA and subsidised by the Department of State Development. Both courses are free-of-charge for successful applicants.

Program 1: Women's Leadership Course
For women who are already in – or are well placed to be in – leadership or supervisory roles within their workplace or community organisation. Participants graduate with a Certificate IV in Frontline Management. The course will be delivered over a 10 month period, beginning 17 October 2014. Expression of Interest due by 26 September 2014.

Program 2: Women's Introductory Leadership Skills Course
An entry level course in introductory leadership skills, for women aspiring to increase their knowledge of work environments, further study and community activities. Participants graduate with a Certificate III in Women's Education. Course will be held over 12+ months at the Adelaide City Campus of TAFESA, beginning in February 2015. Expression of Interest due by 21 November 2014.
