Ms Jodeen Carney is South Australia's Commissioner for Equal Opportunity.
Jodeen commenced in the role in April 2021.
Previously she has worked as a lawyer, a politician in the Northern Territory and a departmental Chief Executive.
Jodeen has represented Australia on the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians network, was a member and Convenor of the Women's Advisory Council in the Northern Territory, and was a founding member of the Central Australian Women's Legal Service.
She is committed to addressing issues of diversity and equality in South Australia.
The OCEO reports to Parliament through the South Australian Attorney-General.
